Check the router placement first. Thick walls and metal surfaces block the signal. Move the router to a central location, away from microwaves and cordless phones. Restart both the router and the modem by unplugging them for 30 seconds. If you're using Wi-Fi, switch to a 5 GHz band if your device supports it. The 2.4 GHz band gets crowded in apartment buildings. Test the connection with an Ethernet cable to rule out Wi-Fi issues.
Clear your browser cache and cookies. Old session data conflicts with new login attempts. Try a different browser or incognito mode to test. Double-check you're using your customer number, not your email, if that's what the system requires. The password reset option sends a link to your registered email. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive within five minutes. Disable browser extensions that block scripts, as they interfere with the login process.
Plug a different phone into the same jack to identify if it's the device or the line. Cordless phones need their base station powered on. Check if the phone cable is firmly connected to both the wall jack and your device. If you have DSL filters installed, make sure every phone jack has one. Without filters, your internet interferes with voice calls. Test the jack closest to where the line enters your home to bypass internal wiring issues.
