A1 App Won't Open or Crashes

If the A1 mobile app freezes on launch or crashes immediately, the most common culprit is an outdated version. Check the App Store or Google Play for pending updates and install them. If that doesn't help, clear the app cache in your device settings, then force-close and reopen it. A full reinstall fixes most persistent crashes.

Can't Log Into Your Personal Account

Authentication failures usually come down to three things: a mistyped password, an expired session, or a temporary server hiccup. Try resetting your password through the login page using your registered phone number. If the SMS confirmation code isn't arriving, wait two minutes and request it again — sometimes there's a short delivery delay on the network side.

Mobile Internet Is Slow or Not Working
  • Check that mobile data is enabled in your phone settings and that A1 is set as the active SIM for data.
  • Restart your device to force a fresh network registration.
  • Verify your data balance in the personal account — a depleted package often drops the connection to near-zero speeds rather than cutting it entirely.
  • If speed is consistently low, try switching between LTE and 3G manually in network settings to find a more stable band.
No Signal in Buildings or Certain Areas

Weak indoor coverage is a real limitation in basements, thick-walled offices, and rural zones. Moving closer to a window or going outside usually restores signal. If the problem repeats in the same spot daily, you can report a coverage gap through the support chat so the network team can log it.

SMS Messages Not Sending or Arriving

Outgoing messages stuck in the queue typically point to a network registration issue. Toggle airplane mode on for ten seconds, then off — this forces the phone to re-register with the tower. For incoming messages that never arrive, check whether message blocking or filtering is active in your account settings.

Online Payments Failing at Checkout
  • Confirm your account balance covers the full payment amount including any service fees.
  • Check that your card details saved in the account are current and not expired.
  • Try a different browser or switch from the website to the mobile app, as session errors sometimes block the payment form on one platform but not the other.
Website Is Unavailable or Loads Slowly

When the A1 website is unreachable, first check your own internet connection by opening another site. If general browsing works fine, the issue is likely a temporary server overload. Clearing browser cookies and cache resolves cases where a corrupted session prevents the page from loading properly. Switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data (or vice versa) also helps isolate whether the problem is on your network or the service side.
