App crashes when booking appointment

The mobile application sometimes freezes or closes unexpectedly during the booking process. First, clear the app cache through your phone settings. On Android, go to Settings > Apps > Doctena > Storage > Clear Cache. For iOS users, uninstall and reinstall the app completely. Make sure you're running the latest version from the App Store or Google Play. If crashes persist, try booking through the web browser instead.

Login error with correct credentials
  • Double-check that Caps Lock is off and you're entering the exact email address used during registration
  • Request a password reset if you haven't logged in for a while — accounts sometimes require password updates
  • Clear browser cookies and cache, then restart your browser
  • Try using incognito mode to rule out extension conflicts
  • Switch to a different browser if the problem continues
Confirmation messages not arriving

Missing appointment confirmations usually happen due to email filters. Check your spam and promotions folders first. Add noreply@doctena.de to your contacts to prevent future filtering. For SMS confirmations, verify that your phone number in account settings includes the correct country code. Some mobile carriers block automated messages — contact your provider to whitelist medical appointment notifications.

Payment processing fails repeatedly

Payment errors often occur when card details are entered incorrectly or the card has expired. Verify the CVV code, expiration date, and billing address match your bank records exactly. Some banks block online medical payments by default for security reasons. Call your bank to authorize transactions with healthcare platforms. Alternatively, try a different payment method if available — some users have better success with PayPal or direct debit.

Search returns no available slots

When searches show no results despite doctors being listed, adjust your filter settings. Remove specific time restrictions and extend the date range to at least two weeks. The system sometimes struggles with very narrow search parameters. If you're looking for a specific specialist, try searching by medical condition instead of doctor name. Refresh the page after changing filters — cached results occasionally display outdated availability.
