Clear your browser cache and cookies first — this fixes the majority of blank page or infinite loading issues. If that doesn't help, try a different browser or switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data. DNS problems can also block access, so switching to 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1 in your network settings often resolves it instantly.
This usually comes down to three things:
If none of that works, use the password reset option and choose a new one that avoids special characters for now.
HLN streams video through CDN infrastructure, so playback issues are almost always bandwidth or browser-related. Check your connection speed — stable streaming requires at least 5 Mbps. Disable browser extensions, especially ad blockers, as they frequently interfere with video players. If the video loads but stays frozen, lowering the quality setting manually usually unblocks it.
Go into your device settings and confirm that notifications are allowed for the HLN app specifically. On Android, battery optimization can silently kill background processes — add the app to the exceptions list. On iOS, background app refresh must be enabled. Also check that Do Not Disturb mode isn't active.
If the search bar returns empty results or completely irrelevant content, the issue is almost always a stale cache. On mobile, clearing the app cache from device settings resolves it. On desktop, a hard refresh fixes it in most cases. If results still seem off, the index may be temporarily out of sync on the server side — waiting a few minutes and retrying usually works.
Slow or broken image loading typically points to a network congestion issue rather than a service outage. Switch networks if possible. If you're on a corporate or public Wi-Fi, the connection may be filtering media content — using your mobile data directly bypasses that restriction.
