Argenta App Won't Open or Crashes

If the Argenta mobile app freezes on launch or closes immediately, start by clearing the app cache in your device settings. On Android, go to app info and tap clear cache. On iOS, delete and reinstall the app. Make sure you're running the latest version — outdated builds often break after server-side updates. If the issue persists, check whether your phone's operating system is still supported by the current release.

Login Fails or Password Is Rejected

Wrong credentials are the obvious cause, but not always the real one. Sometimes the session token gets corrupted, especially after a long period of inactivity. Log out completely, close the browser or app, reopen, and try again. If you're using a browser, clear cookies and cached data before logging back in. For repeated failures, use the password reset option linked to your registered email or phone number.

Online Banking Page Won't Load
  • Check your internet connection with another site or app first.
  • Try a different browser — Chrome, Firefox, or Safari — to rule out a local rendering issue.
  • Disable browser extensions, particularly ad blockers, which sometimes interfere with banking scripts.
  • If the page partially loads but hangs, it may be a temporary server issue on Argenta's end. Wait a few minutes and refresh.
Payment or Transfer Doesn't Go Through

A failed transaction usually comes down to one of a few things: an incorrect IBAN, insufficient funds, or a daily transfer limit being reached. Double-check the recipient details character by character. If everything looks correct, check your account limits in the settings section. Some transfers also trigger a manual review, so a short delay doesn't always mean a failure — check your transaction history before retrying, or you risk a duplicate charge.

Card Payment Rejected at Checkout

If your Argenta card gets declined during an online purchase, first confirm that online payments are enabled for that card. Some cards ship with e-commerce transactions disabled by default. You can toggle this inside the app. Also verify the billing address you're entering matches exactly what's on file with the bank.

Notifications and Messages Not Arriving
  • Go to your device notification settings and confirm that alerts for the app are turned on.
  • Check that Do Not Disturb mode isn't blocking banking notifications.
  • If push messages stopped arriving after a device switch, re-register the device in the security settings of your account.
Slow Interface and High Response Times

Sluggish performance inside the app usually points to a weak mobile data signal or an overloaded Wi-Fi network. Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see which performs better. If both are slow, the issue may be temporary server load. Restarting the app often helps flush stale data and reconnects to a faster endpoint.
