If the Elron app freezes on the splash screen or crashes immediately, start by clearing the app cache. On Android, go to Settings → Apps → Elron → Clear Cache. On iOS, delete and reinstall the app. Make sure your OS version meets the minimum requirements listed on the official website. If the problem persists after reinstalling, the issue may be a failed update — check the app store for a newer version or roll back if possible.
Failed login attempts are usually caused by browser cache conflicts or outdated saved credentials. Clear cookies and cached data, then try logging in through an incognito window. If you get a 'session expired' message repeatedly, disable any browser extensions that interfere with cookies. For the mobile app, log out fully, force-stop the app, and log back in. Password reset via email works in most cases when credentials simply stop being accepted.
Payment failures at checkout usually come down to a few causes:
If the amount was debited but no ticket arrived, check your email spam folder and the order history in your account before contacting support.
Slow page loads or complete unavailability are often local network issues. Run a quick check: open another website to confirm your connection is working. Restart your router and flush DNS by running 'ipconfig /flushdns' on Windows or 'sudo dscacheutil -flushcache' on macOS. If the Elron site loads on mobile data but not on Wi-Fi, the problem is with your local network configuration.
If the ticket QR code appears blank or the PDF won't render, the most common fix is switching browsers. Chromium-based browsers handle ticket rendering most reliably. On mobile, make sure the app has permission to access storage. If the file downloaded but won't open, the download may be corrupted — delete it and download again from your account page.
Empty search results usually mean the query parameters conflict — for example, a return date set before the departure date, or a station name entered with a typo. Use the autocomplete dropdown rather than typing the full station name manually. If the search spinner runs indefinitely, a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R) clears the cached search state and typically resolves it.
