If the page just spins or returns an error, start with the basics: clear your browser cache and cookies, then try a hard reload. If that doesn't help, test the service in a different browser or switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data. The issue is often a stale session token that gets flushed once you clear stored data.
Repeated login failures usually come down to three things:
When a message sits in the outbox without going through, check the attachment size first. Virgilio Mail enforces limits on file size per message, and exceeding them silently stalls the send queue. Also verify the recipient address has no typos — the service sometimes fails quietly instead of throwing a clear error. Logging out and back in usually resets a stuck outbox.
Delays in receiving mail are often a filter issue. Check spam and trash folders, then review any active filtering rules in settings. If expected messages consistently go missing, make sure no rules are redirecting or auto-deleting them.
Inline images failing to display usually points to a content-blocking setting in your browser or a strict firewall on your network. Allow third-party content for the mail domain. For attachments that refuse to download, try a different browser — some extensions intercept download requests and break them silently.
A frozen compose window or unresponsive inbox typically means the page has been open too long and the session has expired server-side. Refresh the tab — if you were composing a message, the draft is usually saved automatically. If freezes happen repeatedly within short sessions, the problem is likely a conflicting browser extension or insufficient available RAM on the device.
The built-in search can behave oddly if the mailbox index is out of sync. Try narrowing the query with sender or date filters instead of free-text keywords. If search consistently returns nothing for messages you can see manually, switching to a different browser session sometimes forces a re-index.
