If the phone shows No Service or only emergency calls, first check whether flight mode was enabled by mistake. Restart the device, then switch network selection from automatic to manual and back. If you recently changed SIM cards or moved the SIM to another phone, reseat it and inspect for damage. In weak coverage areas, 4G or 5G may drop completely while 2G still works for calls, so forcing a lower network mode can help.
Outgoing calls may fail if VoLTE is enabled but not provisioned correctly on the line. Disable VoLTE in phone settings and try again. If calls connect and immediately end, reset network settings. Also verify that call barring, fixed dialing, or Do Not Disturb features are not interfering.
This often happens after switching from another phone platform or after enabling spam filtering. Restart the phone, update carrier settings, and test with several senders. If one-time passwords do not arrive, the sender may be blocked by message filtering or delayed by network congestion.

High latency on mobile data is common during cell congestion, especially in the evening. Run a speed test in different locations, not just indoors. If gaming or video calls are unstable, switch from 5G to 4G or vice versa and compare. Background cloud backups can also saturate the connection and make ping spike badly.
