After a patch, the client sometimes refuses to start — black screen or crash on splash screen. First, verify game files through the launcher: find the game in the list, click the gear icon, then "Check files". If that doesn't help, delete the Cache folder inside the game directory and restart the launcher.
If ping spikes to 200+ ms mid-game, the issue is usually on the route between your machine and the game server, not the server itself. Try switching to a wired connection instead of Wi-Fi. Also check if something is eating bandwidth in the background — downloads, streaming, cloud backups. Flush DNS: run cmd as administrator and type ipconfig /flushdns.
Freezes that aren't ping-related usually come from GPU driver issues or overheating. Update your graphics driver to the latest stable version — not beta. Check GPU temperature with MSI Afterburner during a session; if it hits 90°C+, clean the cooler.
If characters or maps look broken — missing textures, invisible walls — the game files are likely corrupted. Run a file check through the launcher. If the problem persists, do a clean reinstall: uninstall, manually delete the remaining game folder, then install fresh.
If a purchase doesn't go through, first confirm your card supports online international transactions. Then check that the billing address matches what your bank has on file. Sometimes the store session expires — log out and back in before retrying the payment.
