Clear your browser cache and cookies, then do a hard refresh with Ctrl+Shift+R. If the page still doesn't respond, try a different browser — AFAS Profit and the self-service portal behave best in Chrome or Edge. Disable any browser extensions that might interfere with scripts, especially ad blockers and script managers.
Check that you're using the correct environment URL provided by your administrator. Wrong subdomain addresses are a common culprit. If your credentials are correct but access is denied, your session token may have expired — log out completely, clear cookies, and sign back in. For SSO-connected accounts, confirm with your IT team that the identity provider is reachable.
If form submissions silently fail or changes disappear after saving, the issue is usually a timeout caused by a slow or unstable connection. Switch to a wired connection or a stronger Wi-Fi signal and try again. Make sure you're not working in multiple tabs with the same record open, as this can cause write conflicts.
Heavy report queries time out when the server is under load or your filter scope is too wide. Narrow the date range and apply more specific filters before running the report. Schedule large exports during off-peak hours if your environment supports it.
Missed in-app messages or email notifications from AFAS are usually a configuration issue rather than a network one. Verify that your notification preferences are enabled in your user profile. Check your spam folder for system emails and whitelist the sending domain with your email client.
