Artea Website Won't Load at All

If the Artea bank portal doesn't open, start with the basics: clear your browser cache and cookies, then try a different browser entirely. Chrome and Firefox handle banking sessions differently, and a corrupted cache is one of the most common culprits. If the site still doesn't respond, check whether your DNS settings are causing the block — switching to 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1 sometimes resolves it immediately.

Login Page Freezes or Loops

A frozen login screen usually means a stuck session cookie or a JavaScript conflict. Clear site data specifically for the Artea domain, disable any browser extensions (especially ad blockers and script managers), and reload. If the page keeps redirecting back to the login form after you submit credentials, try opening the portal in a private/incognito window — this rules out extension interference.

Two-Factor Authentication Code Not Arriving

Delayed or missing SMS codes are often a network delivery issue rather than a bank-side failure.

  • Check that your phone has stable mobile signal — no signal means no SMS
  • Make sure the number registered in your profile is current
  • Wait 60–90 seconds before requesting a new code, as duplicate requests can cause queue conflicts
  • Restart your phone to refresh the mobile network connection
Payment Fails at Confirmation Step

If a payment gets stuck at the confirmation stage or returns an error, first verify that your account balance actually covers the amount including any fees. Then check whether your card or account has any daily transaction limits set in the profile settings. Session timeouts also cause this — if you left the payment form open for more than 10 minutes, the session may have expired and you'll need to start over.

Mobile App Crashes or Won't Open
  • Force-stop the app and relaunch it
  • Check for pending updates in the App Store or Google Play
  • Free up device storage if it's below 1 GB — banking apps are sensitive to low memory
  • Reinstall the app if crashes persist after an update
Transfers Stuck in Processing Status

A transfer that stays in 'processing' for more than a few hours could indicate a validation hold. Log into the portal and check the transaction history for any status messages or required confirmations. Some SEPA transfers to new recipients trigger an additional verification step that only appears inside the account interface, not via notification.

Slow Interface and High Response Times

If the Artea interface loads slowly — buttons respond with a delay, pages take 10+ seconds — run a basic speed test to rule out your own connection. If your internet is fine, try switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data or vice versa. Congestion on specific routing paths can cause high latency to Lithuanian banking servers even when general browsing feels normal.
