Service info and troubleshooting

Aruba Website Loads Slowly or Not at All

Clear your browser cache and try a different browser. If the Aruba website still doesn't load, check whether the issue is on your end by testing other sites. DNS problems can also cause this — switch to a public DNS like 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1 in your network settings. If you're on a corporate network, a firewall may be blocking access.

Login Fails on the Personal Account

This is usually a password mismatch or a session conflict. Log out of all active sessions if the platform allows it, then try again from a private browser window. If two-factor authentication stops delivering codes, check that your phone number or authenticator app is still synced correctly. Resetting credentials through the official recovery flow fixes most cases.

Hosted Email Not Sending or Receiving

Mail delivery issues on Aruba-hosted accounts often trace back to incorrect SMTP or IMAP settings. Double-check port numbers — SMTP typically runs on 465 or 587, IMAP on 993. Also verify:

  • SPF and DKIM records are properly configured in your DNS zone
  • your mailbox hasn't hit its storage quota
  • the recipient domain isn't rejecting your server's IP
Domain or DNS Changes Not Propagating

After updating DNS records, propagation can take up to 48 hours. Use a DNS lookup tool to track the current state across different resolvers. If changes haven't reflected after 24 hours, confirm the TTL value wasn't set too high before the update — a TTL of several hours will delay propagation significantly.

Payment Not Going Through at Checkout

Failed payments on renewal or new orders usually come from card authorization issues or session timeouts. Try:

  • using a different payment method or card
  • disabling browser extensions that may interfere with payment scripts
  • switching to a different device or network

If the charge appears on your bank statement but the order shows as pending, contact support with the transaction ID before retrying.

Control Panel Interface Freezes

A frozen panel is almost always a JavaScript rendering issue. Hard-refresh the page with Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows or Cmd+Shift+R on Mac. If certain sections stay unresponsive, disable browser extensions one by one to find the conflict. Chromium-based browsers tend to work most reliably with the Aruba control panel.

SSL Certificate Not Activating After Purchase

After buying an SSL certificate, activation requires completing domain validation. If the validation email never arrives, check that the admin contact address in your WHOIS data is correct and accessible. For DNS-based validation, make sure the CNAME record was added exactly as specified — extra spaces or wrong subdomains are common mistakes that silently break the process.
