If the six-digit code is not generated in your banking app, first check whether the app has finished loading and whether the phone has a stable internet connection. Codes are time-limited, so an outdated screen can show nothing useful. Force-close the bank app, open it again, and make sure you are logged into the correct account. If the app still does not show the code, the bank's mobile service may be temporarily unavailable.
A failed login usually blocks access to BLIK features entirely. Typical causes are an incorrect PIN, expired session, app update required, or temporary authentication failure on the bank side. If biometric login stops working, enter the manual password and re-enable biometrics later in settings. Also verify that the phone date and time are set automatically, because wrong system time can break secure login.
A BLIK transfer to phone can fail even when the recipient number looks correct. The recipient may not have linked their phone number in their bank, your transfer limit may be reached, or the bank may require extra confirmation. Recheck the number format, daily limits, and whether your account has enough balance including any reservation blocks.
Sometimes the problem is not the phone but the bank's backend. Then the app may open slowly, show errors, fail to load account data, or not send payment confirmations. In that case, repeated retries usually do not help. Wait a few minutes, then try again. If possible, check whether regular account functions in the app also fail, which points to a wider bank outage.
BLIK relies on fast confirmation between the store, the bank, and your device. Weak signal, packet loss, or high ping can cause timeouts, delayed approval screens, or failed transfers. Move to a place with better coverage, disable and re-enable mobile data, or switch to a reliable Wi-Fi network. If SMS verification from the bank is delayed, poor signal is often the cause.
When the shop checkout page fails to display the payment form, the issue may be in the browser rather than the bank app. Clear cache, disable aggressive content blockers, and retry in another browser. On mobile, opening the store inside an in-app browser can also break the handoff to the banking app, so using a standard browser often works better.
