Mobile app crashes on login

The Deutsche Bank Mobile Banking app sometimes closes unexpectedly when you try to log in. First, clear the app cache through your phone settings. Go to Apps, find Deutsche Bank Mobile, tap Storage, then Clear Cache. If that doesn't help, uninstall and reinstall the app completely. Make sure you're running the latest version from your app store. Check your phone has at least 2GB of free storage, as the app needs space to function properly.

Online banking session expires immediately

You log into Online Banking, but get kicked out within seconds. This usually happens when cookies are blocked or your browser cache is corrupted. Open your browser settings and enable cookies for deutsche-bank.de. Clear browsing data for the past 24 hours, including cached images and cookies. Try using a different browser like Chrome or Firefox. Disable any ad blockers temporarily, as they sometimes interfere with banking sessions.

Payment transfers stuck in processing
  • Check your internet connection is stable before initiating transfers
  • Verify you entered the correct IBAN and recipient details
  • Look for any transaction limits on your account that might block larger amounts
  • Wait 10 minutes and refresh the transaction history, as processing delays occur during peak hours
  • Contact your branch if the transfer shows pending for more than 2 hours
Cannot receive SMS verification codes

Two-factor authentication codes aren't arriving on your phone. Confirm your mobile number is correctly registered in your profile settings. Check if your phone has signal and can receive regular SMS messages. Some carriers delay banking messages, so wait up to 5 minutes. If you recently changed your number, update it through photoTAN or visit a branch. Request a new code only after the previous one expires.

Website loads partially or freezes

Pages on the banking portal load halfway and stop responding. Your browser might be outdated or overloaded with extensions. Update your browser to the latest version. Try incognito or private browsing mode to rule out extension conflicts. Restart your router to refresh your internet connection. If using public WiFi, switch to mobile data, as some networks restrict banking sites. The issue often resolves by simply waiting 30 seconds for scripts to load completely.
