Weather data won't load

The most common issue: the page opens but forecast tiles stay blank or show a loading spinner forever. Usually it's a browser cache problem. Clear cookies and cached files, then reload. If that doesn't help, try a different browser — Foreca's interface occasionally conflicts with outdated versions of Firefox or Safari.

Location search returns no results

You type a city name and get nothing back, or the dropdown shows irrelevant places. First, check your internet connection — even a weak signal causes search requests to time out silently. If the connection is fine, the issue is usually a stuck session. Log out if you have an account, clear the site data for foreca.com in your browser settings, and try again.

App crashes or freezes on launch

The Foreca mobile app sometimes locks up right after the splash screen, especially after an OS update. Steps to fix it:

• Force-close the app and reopen it
• If that doesn't work, clear the app cache in your phone's storage settings
• Check that your device has enough free storage — less than 500 MB free can cause instability
• Update the app to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play

Radar map won't display

The animated radar layer fails to render on slow or unstable connections because it streams a series of image tiles. Switch to a stable Wi-Fi network. Also, disable any browser extensions that block scripts or images — ad blockers sometimes strip the map tile requests.

Account login fails

If the login form rejects correct credentials, reset your password through the email link. If the reset email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check the spam folder. Make sure you're entering the email address in lowercase — the authentication system on some older accounts is case-sensitive.

Notifications not arriving

Push alerts for weather warnings stop coming after a phone OS update fairly often. Go to your device's notification settings, find the app in the list, and make sure notifications are enabled. On Android, also check that battery optimization isn't set to restrict background activity for this app.
