Your browser might be caching an old version of the interface. Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try accessing fritz.box again. If that doesn't help, try a different browser or use the IP address 192.168.178.1 directly. Check that your device is actually connected to the router's network, not a guest network or mobile data.
Double-check you're using the correct password. The default credentials are often printed on the router's label. If you changed the password and forgot it, you'll need to reset the router to factory settings by holding the reset button for about 10 seconds. Remember this wipes all your custom settings.
Move the router to a more central location away from metal objects and microwaves. Change the wireless channel in the Wi-Fi settings to avoid interference from neighbors' networks. The 2.4 GHz band reaches further but is slower, while 5 GHz is faster but has shorter range. Enable both bands and let devices choose automatically.
Your VoIP settings might need adjustment. Go to Telephony > Telephone Numbers and verify your provider details are correct. Poor internet connection affects call quality, so run a speed test. If jitter is high, enable QoS prioritization for telephony traffic in the router settings.
Some IoT devices only work on 2.4 GHz networks. Create a separate 2.4 GHz-only network name if your router uses a unified SSID. Disable WPA3 temporarily and use WPA2 only, as older devices don't support the newer encryption standard.
