If that doesn't help, uninstall and reinstall the latest version from the App Store or Google Play. Outdated builds often conflict with updated backend APIs.
Your smart plug or bulb shows as offline even though it's powered on. First, check that your phone and the device are on the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network — Smart Life doesn't support 5 GHz for most hardware. Then remove the device from the app and re-add it through the pairing flow.

If your scheduled scenes stop working, open the automation settings and check that the time zone is set correctly under your account profile. A mismatch between device time and account region is the most common culprit. Also verify that location permissions are granted if you use geofencing-based triggers.
Commands take several seconds to reach devices or fail silently. This usually points to server load or a weak local network. Move your router closer to the devices, reduce interference from neighboring networks by switching to a less congested Wi-Fi channel, and check whether the Smart Life cloud status page reports any ongoing incidents.
If Alexa or Google Home stops responding to commands, the most likely cause is a broken link between accounts. Go to the respective assistant app, remove the Smart Life skill, then re-add and re-authorize it. After that, run device discovery again.
