If the site refuses to open or hangs on a blank page, start with the basics: clear your browser cache and cookies, then reload. Chromium-based browsers sometimes cache broken responses from government portals. Try an incognito window or a different browser entirely — Firefox tends to behave more predictably with Polish public registry services. If the problem persists across browsers, check whether your DNS resolver is causing delays; switching to 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1 often helps.
The portal uses time-limited sessions, and if you leave a tab idle for too long, your session expires silently. When you try to submit a form after that, you get a generic error instead of a clear warning. Always refresh the page before starting a new action. If you can't log in at all, double-check that your credentials match the environment you registered in — test and production accounts are separate.
This is one of the more frustrating issues. The portal relies on external payment operators, so failures can come from multiple directions:
If the payment failed but money was debited, wait up to 24 hours for an automatic reversal before contacting support.
When searching for an entity in the registry, vague or slightly mistyped names return nothing rather than approximate matches. Use the KRS number if you have it — it's the most reliable search key. If you only have a name, try stripping legal form suffixes and searching by a shorter keyword string.
Downloaded court documents sometimes open as corrupted files or don't download at all. This usually happens when the server-side generation takes too long and the connection drops mid-transfer. Try downloading during off-peak hours, typically early morning. If a PDF opens but displays no content, your PDF reader may need an update — the portal generates files using standards that older readers don't handle well.
Occasionally the form submission button becomes unresponsive after the first click. The request may actually be processing in the background. Wait at least 30 seconds before clicking again, otherwise you risk submitting the same form twice. Check the application status in your account history before retrying.
