  • Verify the recipient's IBAN character by character; a single wrong digit causes an immediate rejection.
  • Check that your daily transfer limit hasn't been reached in your account settings.
  • Confirm your account has sufficient funds including any applicable fees.
  • Make sure your session hasn't expired mid-process — log out, log back in, and retry.
Oberbank App Freezes or Crashes

Force-close the app and reopen it. If it keeps crashing, clear the app cache through your phone's storage settings. An outdated app version is a common culprit — update through your app store. On iOS, restarting the device often clears memory conflicts that cause freezing.

SMS Confirmation Code Never Arrives

Network delays from your mobile carrier can hold up one-time codes for several minutes. Wait up to five minutes before requesting a new code. If your phone has poor signal, move to an area with better reception and try again. Also check that the phone number linked to your account is still active and correct.

Slow Response and High Ping During Sessions

Run a speed test to check your connection. If latency is above 100 ms consistently, the problem is on your network side. Switch to a wired connection if possible, or move closer to your Wi-Fi router. Avoid using the service over congested public Wi-Fi — transaction timeouts are much more frequent on such networks.

Account Statements or Files Won't Download

PDF statements sometimes fail to open if a browser PDF plugin is misconfigured. Try downloading the file directly to your device instead of opening it in the browser tab. If the download starts but never completes, disable browser extensions temporarily — ad blockers occasionally interfere with file delivery from banking domains.
