URSSAF Website Won't Load at All

Clear your browser cache first — stale cookies often block the session from initializing. If the page still hangs, try a different browser entirely. Chrome and Firefox tend to behave differently with the authentication layer. Also check whether your DNS resolver is causing delays; switching to 8.8.8.8 temporarily can confirm this fast.

Login Fails Despite Correct Credentials

This usually comes down to one of three things:

  • Your session cookie is corrupted — log out completely, clear site data, and try again
  • The account is temporarily locked after multiple failed attempts — wait 15–30 minutes before retrying
  • Your password was reset on one device but the old one is cached in your browser's autofill

If none of those apply, try accessing the portal from a private window to rule out extensions interfering with form submission.

Contribution Payment Not Going Through

Bank-side rejections are the most common cause here. Some French banks flag URSSAF's payment endpoint as an unfamiliar merchant and block the transaction automatically. Contact your bank to whitelist the payee, or try a different card. Also verify that your IBAN is entered without spaces — the form sometimes accepts the input visually but fails validation silently.

Mobile App Freezes on Declaration Screen

Force-close the app and check for pending updates. Older versions of the mobile application have known rendering issues on Android 13 and iOS 17. If the freeze persists after updating, delete and reinstall — this resets the local data cache that sometimes becomes corrupted after a network interruption mid-session.

Confirmation Emails Not Arriving

Check your spam folder first. Many mail providers classify automated messages from government domains as bulk mail. If nothing is there, the sending queue on the platform side may be delayed during peak periods like quarterly deadlines. Wait 20 minutes and request the confirmation again. If the problem repeats, add the sending domain to your contacts to prevent future filtering.

Account Dashboard Shows Outdated Figures

This is typically a display cache issue, not a data problem. Hard-refresh the page with Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows or Cmd+Shift+R on Mac. If the figures still look wrong after a few hours, it may reflect a processing delay on the server side — declarations submitted near midnight sometimes post to the visible balance the following morning.
