If your connection keeps dropping, start with the basics: reboot your router by unplugging it for 30 seconds, then plugging it back in. Check all cable connections between the router and wall socket — a loose coaxial or Ethernet cable is a surprisingly common culprit. If the issue persists, log in to the Cgates router admin panel (usually at 192.168.1.1) and check if the WAN connection status shows an error. Also verify that your subscription is active and hasn't been suspended due to a missed payment.
Run a speed test from a device connected via Ethernet cable, not Wi-Fi. If the wired result is fine but wireless is slow, the problem is local — switch your router to a less congested Wi-Fi channel (5 GHz usually helps in dense buildings). If even the wired speed is far below your plan's rate, contact support and provide them with the test results and timestamps.
The Cgates TV app may freeze or fail to load video when the local network is congested or the device cache is full. Clear the app cache in your device settings, then restart the app. If streams buffer constantly, check that no other device is consuming heavy bandwidth at the same time.
If you can't log in to the self-service portal, first confirm you're using the correct username format — the system expects your contract number or registered email, not a phone number. Use the password reset option if credentials aren't accepted. If the reset email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder.
If specific channels have disappeared from the lineup, check whether they're included in your current package — plan changes sometimes take a few minutes to propagate. Restarting the set-top box or smart TV app usually refreshes the channel list. If the issue affects all channels, verify that your subscription is still active in your personal account.
A slow or unresponsive Cgates website is often a temporary server-side issue. Try clearing your browser cache and cookies, then reload. If the site is inaccessible from multiple devices on your network, wait 10–15 minutes and try again — brief maintenance windows do occur.
