EDPnet Website Won't Load at All

Clear your browser cache and try an incognito window first. If the site still doesn't open, flush your DNS cache — on Windows run ipconfig /flushdns in the command prompt, on macOS use sudo dscacheutil -flushcache. Try switching to a different browser or device to rule out a local configuration issue. If nothing helps, the problem is likely on the provider's end — wait 15–20 minutes and try again.

Can't Log Into Your Personal Account

Double-check that Caps Lock is off and you're using the correct email address associated with your account. If the password reset email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder and make sure the address you entered matches exactly. Browser extensions, especially aggressive ad blockers, sometimes interfere with the login form — disable them temporarily. Cookies must be enabled for the session to persist.

Internet Connection Drops or Is Unstable

Restart your router by unplugging it for 30 seconds, not just pressing the reset button. Check all cable connections between the wall socket and the router. Run a traceroute to identify where packet loss occurs — on Windows it's tracert followed by any public address. If the issue repeats at the same time each day, log the timestamps and report them to EDPnet support with those details.

High Ping and Slow Speeds
  • Connect via Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi to eliminate wireless interference
  • Reduce the number of active devices on the network
  • Check whether background updates or cloud sync are consuming bandwidth
  • Run a speed test at different times to identify a pattern
Online Payments Failing to Process

If a payment in the client portal gets rejected, first verify that your bank hasn't flagged the transaction. Try a different card or payment method. Clear the browser cache before retrying — sometimes a stale session token causes the form to fail silently. If the amount was deducted but the payment shows as pending, don't repeat the transaction; contact support and provide the transaction timestamp.

Router Gets IP But No Internet Access

This usually points to a PPPoE authentication failure. Go into your router settings and re-enter your EDPnet credentials manually. Check that the connection type is set correctly — most home connections use PPPoE, not DHCP. If credentials are correct and it still fails, the account may have a suspension due to billing, which you can verify through the customer portal.

Service Portal Interface Freezes

Disable browser extensions one by one to find the culprit. Make sure JavaScript is enabled — the portal relies on it heavily. If the page freezes mid-action, avoid clicking repeatedly; open the portal in a new tab and check whether the action was actually saved before retrying.
