If the Enedis web portal refuses to open or gets stuck on a blank page, start with the basics: clear your browser cache and cookies, then try a hard reload (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac). If that doesn't help, switch to a different browser — the portal works best on recent versions of Chrome or Firefox. Corporate or public Wi-Fi networks sometimes block access due to firewall rules, so try your mobile data connection as an alternative.
Failed login attempts on the Espace Client are usually caused by one of three things: an expired password, a mismatch between the email address and the registered account, or a session cookie conflict. Use the 'Mot de passe oublié' link to reset credentials. If the reset email never arrives, check your spam folder and make sure the address you're entering matches exactly what you used during registration. Logging in from a private/incognito window eliminates cookie-related conflicts in most cases.
A frozen dashboard usually points to a JavaScript error or an overloaded session. Steps to resolve it:
Consumption history and Linky meter graphs sometimes fail to render due to a data sync delay between the meter and the platform. This is normal for up to 24 hours after a meter event. If data has been missing for several days, log out, clear site data for enedis.fr specifically, and log back in. On mobile, pull down to force a manual refresh on the dashboard screen.
The Enedis app on iOS or Android can crash after an OS update if the app version is outdated. Check the App Store or Google Play for a pending update first. If the app is current but still crashes on launch, uninstall and reinstall it — this rebuilds the local cache database, which occasionally gets corrupted. Make sure your phone isn't running in low-storage mode, as the app needs free space to write temporary files.
If you're missing outage alerts or account messages, verify that push notifications are enabled both in your phone's system settings and inside the app's notification preferences. Email alerts depend on the address saved in your profile — confirm it under account settings. SMS alerts require a valid French mobile number linked to the account.
