App crashes when booking a ride

The FreeNow app sometimes freezes or closes unexpectedly during the booking process. Clear the app cache through your phone settings, then restart the device. If that doesn't help, uninstall and reinstall the app completely. Make sure you're running the latest version from the App Store or Google Play, as outdated builds often conflict with current server configurations.

Payment method keeps getting declined

Your card might be rejected even if it has sufficient funds. Check that your bank hasn't flagged the transaction as suspicious and verify the card details are entered correctly, including the CVV and expiration date. Some banks require you to enable international payments or online transactions in their mobile app. Contact your bank to confirm they support recurring charges for ride-hailing services.

GPS location shows wrong pickup point
  • Turn off and on location services in your phone settings
  • Grant the app precise location permissions, not just approximate
  • Step outside if you're indoors, as buildings interfere with GPS signals
  • Restart your phone to refresh the GPS module
  • Check if other map apps show your correct location
Cannot log into account

If you're stuck at the login screen, verify you're entering the correct phone number with the right country code. Request a new verification code and wait at least two minutes before trying again. Poor cellular reception often prevents SMS codes from arriving. Switch to a different network or connect to WiFi. Reset your password through the forgot password option if multiple attempts fail.

Ride history not loading

Connection timeouts prevent the app from fetching your previous trips. Check your internet connection by opening a browser. Switch between WiFi and mobile data to see which works better. The server might be overloaded during peak hours, so wait a few minutes and pull down to refresh the screen.

Push notifications not arriving

You'll miss driver updates if notifications are disabled. Go to your phone's notification settings and ensure FreeNow has permission to send alerts. Disable battery optimization for the app, as aggressive power-saving modes block background activity. Sign out and back in to re-establish the notification connection.
