If the Wolt app freezes on launch or crashes right away, start with the basics: force-close it, then reopen. If that doesn't help, clear the app cache in your phone settings. On iOS, delete and reinstall the app. On Android, go to Settings → Apps → Wolt → Clear Cache. Outdated versions are a common culprit, so check the App Store or Google Play for pending updates.
A frozen restaurant list or search bar that returns nothing usually points to a connectivity issue on the device side. Switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data or vice versa to isolate the problem. If the interface stays stuck, try pulling down to refresh. Persistent freezing after a refresh often means the servers are under load — waiting a few minutes and retrying usually resolves it.
Failed payments at the final step are frustrating. Common causes:
Try adding a different card or switching to a saved one already verified in the app. If your bank app shows a pending authorization request, approve it and retry.
If you can't log in, first check that you're entering the correct phone number with the full country code. SMS verification codes sometimes delay by a minute or two — don't request a new one too quickly, or you'll trigger a cooldown. If the code never arrives, check whether your carrier is blocking short-code messages. Resetting access via email is the fastest fallback.
Slow image loading, sluggish menus, and delayed responses usually come down to a weak signal rather than the service itself. Run a quick speed test — anything below 5 Mbps on a shared connection will cause noticeable lag. Connecting to a 5 GHz Wi-Fi band instead of 2.4 GHz can noticeably improve responsiveness.
