App Won't Open or Crashes on Launch

Force-close the app and restart it. If that doesn't help, clear the app cache in your phone settings — on Android go to Settings, Apps, find Parkimine.ee and tap Clear Cache. On iOS, delete and reinstall the app. Make sure your OS version meets the minimum requirements listed on the official site.

Payment Fails at Checkout

This is one of the most common friction points. First, verify your card details are entered correctly — expiry date and CVV especially. Some Estonian banks block card-not-present transactions by default; check your bank's mobile app for a blocked payment notification and confirm it there. Also make sure your billing address matches what the bank has on file.

Online Banking Integration Not Responding

If you're paying through a bank link and the redirect freezes or returns an error, the issue is usually on the bank's side during peak hours. Wait a few minutes and retry. Avoid hitting the back button during the redirect — it can corrupt the session and leave the payment in a pending state without actually processing.

Login Errors in Personal Account
  • Double-check that you're using the email address registered during signup, not an alternative one
  • Reset your password if you haven't logged in for a while — sessions and credentials can expire
  • If ID-card or Mobile-ID login fails, ensure your certificates are valid and your browser has the correct extension installed
  • Try a different browser if the authentication page doesn't load properly
Page Loads Slowly or Freezes

Heavy traffic on the server can cause the interface to hang. Try refreshing after 30 seconds. If the problem persists across multiple sessions, check whether your internet connection is stable — run a quick speed test. Switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data (or vice versa) often resolves intermittent loading issues.

No Confirmation SMS After Payment
  • Confirm your phone number in account settings is correct and includes the country code
  • Check if your carrier is blocking short-code messages — some prepaid plans do this
  • Look in spam or filtered message folders
  • If nothing arrives within 5 minutes, log into your account and check payment history directly; the transaction may have gone through even without the SMS
Registration Email Never Arrives

Check your spam folder first. If the email genuinely isn't there, the address may have been entered with a typo during signup. Try registering again with a corrected email. Some corporate or university mail servers aggressively filter automated messages — use a personal address if possible.

Parking Zone Search Returns No Results

This usually happens when location permissions are denied. On both Android and iOS, go to app permissions and set location access to while using the app. If you prefer manual search, try entering just the street name without building number — the search parser can struggle with full address strings.
