If the eMOJ mobile app crashes on launch or freezes at the loading screen, start by force-closing it and clearing the app cache in your phone settings. Make sure the app is updated to the latest version — older builds sometimes lose compatibility with the API after server-side updates. If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall the app fresh.
Authentication failures on the online portal are usually tied to one of three things: an expired session cookie, a browser cache conflict, or a temporary issue on the authorization server. Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try logging in via a private/incognito window. If two-factor authentication is enabled, make sure the time on your device is synced correctly — a clock mismatch of even a few minutes breaks OTP verification.
When invoice documents refuse to open or display a blank page, the issue is almost always a PDF rendering problem in the browser. Try downloading the file directly instead of opening it inline. If downloads also fail, disable any download manager extensions and check that you have enough free disk space. On mobile, make sure you have a PDF viewer app installed.
A frozen interface — buttons not responding, forms stuck mid-submit — usually points to a JavaScript error triggered by a specific browser version. Open the browser console (F12) to see if any script errors are logged. Switching to Chrome or Firefox typically resolves this. If the freeze happens repeatedly at the same step, it may indicate a server-side bug worth reporting through the official support contact form.
If email notifications about bills or outages stop coming, first check your spam folder — mail filters frequently misclassify automated messages. Verify that the email address saved in your account profile is current. For push notifications in the app, go to your phone's notification settings and confirm that eMOJ has permission to send alerts. SMS messages may also be delayed during peak load periods on the mobile carrier side.
