Payment Not Going Through at Checkout

This is the most common issue on Montonio. If a payment fails at the final step, first check that your bank account has sufficient funds and that online payments are enabled for your card or account. Some banks block e-commerce transactions by default — log into your online banking and verify that internet purchases are allowed. If the payment still fails, try a different browser or clear your current browser's cache and cookies before retrying.

Online Banking Redirect Fails to Load

Montonio routes payments through bank redirects, so if your bank's login page doesn't open or freezes mid-process, the issue is often on the bank's side rather than the platform itself. Check your bank's status page directly. Also disable any aggressive ad blockers or browser extensions that might interrupt redirect chains.

Login Issues in the Merchant Dashboard

If you can't access your Montonio account, start with the basics: reset your password using the recovery option on the login screen. If two-factor authentication is set up, make sure your authenticator app is synced — time drift of more than 30 seconds causes code mismatches. Try logging in from an incognito window to rule out a cached session conflict.

Checkout Widget Not Displaying Correctly
  • Reload the page with a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac)
  • Disable browser extensions one by one to find which one breaks the widget
  • Switch to a different browser to confirm it's not a local rendering issue
  • Check that JavaScript is enabled — the payment widget won't render without it
Transfer Status Stuck on Pending

Bank transfers processed through the platform can show a pending status longer than expected during weekends or public holidays, since interbank settlements pause. If a transfer stays pending beyond two business days, download the transaction confirmation from your dashboard and contact your bank with that reference number.

Mobile Browser Checkout Not Responding

On mobile, checkout flows sometimes freeze after selecting a bank. This usually happens when the banking app and browser compete for focus during the redirect. Close background apps, then retry the payment. If the bank redirect opens inside a web view rather than your default browser, some authentication steps may not complete — copy the link and open it manually in your main browser instead.

Slow Response Times on the Payment Page

High latency during checkout is rarely a server outage — it's more often a weak mobile connection at a critical moment. Switch from mobile data to Wi-Fi or vice versa, then reload. If ping to the site is consistently high from your network, restarting your router clears temporary routing issues that cause slow responses.
