Charts freeze or won't load

If the chart just hangs there spinning, the first thing to check is your browser. TradingView runs best on Chrome or Firefox with hardware acceleration enabled. Clear the cache, disable browser extensions one by one — ad blockers and script blockers are common culprits. If nothing helps, try opening the platform in incognito mode.

Login errors and account access issues

A failed login usually comes down to one of three things: wrong credentials, an expired session, or a browser cookie conflict. Try logging out completely, clearing cookies for tradingview.com, then logging back in. If you use Google or Apple sign-in, make sure those accounts aren't locked or requiring re-verification on their end.

Real-time data not updating

The price feed stops refreshing when the WebSocket connection drops. This happens on unstable Wi-Fi or when the browser throttles background tabs.

• Reload the page with Ctrl+Shift+R (hard refresh)
• Switch from Wi-Fi to a wired connection if possible
• Check if the issue is on one symbol or all — sometimes a specific feed provider has an outage
• Make sure your subscription plan includes real-time data for the exchange you're watching

Alerts not triggering or sending

If your price alerts go silent, first check the Alerts panel — the alert might have expired or been auto-disabled after triggering once. For email or webhook notifications, verify the destination is confirmed in your account settings. SMS alerts depend on your plan tier, so a recent downgrade could cut them off silently.

Payment not going through

Declined payments on TradingView are almost always a card-side issue: 3D Secure confirmation pending, international transactions blocked by your bank, or a mismatch in billing address. Try a different card or contact your bank to whitelist the charge before retrying.

App crashing on mobile

• Force-close and reopen the app
• Check for pending updates in the App Store or Google Play
• If crashes persist on a specific chart layout, reset it — corrupted indicator settings can bring the whole session down
