Game Client Won't Launch

If the game refuses to start, the first suspect is the launcher itself. Open the WoT Game Center, go to settings, and run a file integrity check — it scans and replaces corrupted game files automatically. Also make sure your graphics drivers are up to date: outdated GPU drivers cause silent launch failures more often than anything else.

High Ping and Lag Spikes

Ping above 80–100ms ruins the gameplay experience. Start by closing background apps that eat bandwidth — browsers, streaming services, cloud sync tools. Connect via ethernet instead of Wi-Fi if possible. If spikes persist, the issue is likely between your router and the game server: restart the router, and check if the problem is consistent across different in-game servers (EU, RU, NA).

Login Errors and Account Access

A failed login usually comes down to one of three things:

• Wrong region selected in the launcher — your account exists on EU but you're trying to log into NA
• Cached credentials conflict — clear the launcher cache through its settings menu
• Two-factor authentication code not arriving — check spam, or try regenerating the code via the Wargaming account portal

Game Crashes Mid-Battle

Random crashes during matches are typically caused by overheating or insufficient RAM. Monitor CPU and GPU temps with HWiNFO while playing — anything above 90°C for GPU is a red flag. If temperatures are fine, lower the graphics preset one step down and disable HD client textures in the game settings.

Payment Not Going Through

If Gold purchase fails at checkout, first verify your payment method is valid and has sufficient funds. Try a different browser or clear cookies — sometimes the web store gets stuck in a broken session. If the charge appears on your bank statement but Gold wasn't credited, wait 15 minutes and check transaction history in your Wargaming account before contacting support.

Mods Causing Interface Freezes

Third-party mods frequently break after patches. If the hangar or battle interface freezes, rename the 'mods' folder in the game directory to disable all mods at once and relaunch. This immediately confirms whether mods are the root cause without uninstalling anything.
