Game Won't Launch or Crashes on Startup

If the app crashes right after the loading screen, start with the basics: restart your device, clear the app cache (Settings → Apps → Brawl Stars → Clear Cache), and make sure you have at least 1.5 GB of free storage. On iOS, reinstalling the app often fixes corrupt install files.

Can't Connect to Game Servers

The 'Unable to connect' error usually means the game servers are under load or your connection is unstable. Try switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data or vice versa. If that doesn't help, restart your router. DNS issues can also cause this — switch to Google DNS (8.8.8.8) in your network settings.

High Ping and Lag During Matches

Spiky ping during battles is almost always a local network problem, not the servers. Things to check:

  • Move closer to your router or switch to a 5 GHz band
  • Close background apps that eat bandwidth (YouTube, streaming services)
  • Disable automatic updates on your device while playing
  • If you're on mobile data, avoid crowded areas where signal is weak
Purchases Not Going Through

If a gem pack or Brawl Pass payment fails, first verify your payment method is valid and has sufficient funds. Check that your Google Play or App Store account isn't flagged for billing issues. Sometimes the transaction gets stuck — wait 15 minutes before retrying, as double charges can occur if you tap 'Buy' multiple times.

Lost Progress After Reinstall

This happens when the account isn't linked to Supercell ID. If you logged in as a guest before reinstalling, the progress is tied to the device. The only recovery option is contacting Supercell support with your player tag and purchase receipts as proof of ownership.

Rewards and Battle Pass Not Updating

After completing a quest or finishing a season, rewards sometimes don't appear immediately. Force-close the app and reopen it — the servers usually sync within a few minutes. If the issue persists after an hour, it's worth submitting a ticket through the in-game support menu with a screenshot of the completed quest.
