Game Won't Launch or Crashes at Startup

If the launcher opens but the game itself won't start, the first thing to check is your graphics drivers — outdated GPU drivers are responsible for a huge chunk of launch failures. Update them, then verify the game files through the launcher's repair function. Also make sure your system meets the minimum requirements: Genshin demands at least DirectX 11 support and 8 GB of RAM.

High Ping and Lag Spikes During Gameplay

High latency in Genshin is almost always a routing issue, not a server issue. Switch to a wired Ethernet connection instead of Wi-Fi, and close any background apps eating bandwidth — torrent clients, cloud sync services, streaming. In the game settings, try switching your server region: sometimes connecting to a geographically closer server cuts ping significantly.

Login Errors and Account Access Issues

Common culprits:

• Wrong region selected at login — your account is tied to the server where it was created
• Cached credentials causing auth failures — clear the launcher cache via Settings
• Two-factor verification email not arriving — check spam, or try resending after 5 minutes
• Account temporarily locked after multiple failed login attempts — wait 24 hours or contact support

Game Stuck on Loading Screen

This usually means the local game cache is corrupted. Run the repair/verify option in the launcher — it'll scan and re-download damaged files automatically. If the screen freezes specifically during a domain or cutscene, lower your graphics settings and disable anti-aliasing as a temporary fix.

In-Game Purchases Not Going Through

If a payment fails at checkout, first confirm your payment method has no regional restrictions for digital goods. Some cards block gaming transactions by default — check with your bank. If the charge went through but Genesis Crystals didn't appear, wait 15 minutes before retrying: purchase processing can lag. Keep your transaction ID from the confirmation email before reaching out to support.

Game Files Fail to Download or Update
