Clicking the meeting link does nothing or throws an error. First, check if you're signed into the correct account — corporate meetings require your work email, not personal. Clear the browser cache if you're using the web version. For desktop app issues, sign out completely and restart the application. Sometimes the meeting organizer sent an outdated link — ask them to resend the invitation. If you see 'This meeting has ended,' the host might have closed it early or set restricted entry times.
Your text appears with a red exclamation mark and never delivers. This usually means your internet connection dropped momentarily. Toggle airplane mode on and off to reset connectivity. Check if you're hitting message length limits — break long texts into smaller chunks. The problem might be attachment size: files over 300MB won't upload through chat. Try sending through OneDrive link instead. Update the app if you're running an old version — outdated clients often lose sync with servers.
Your camera feed turns into a still image while sound works fine. Lower video quality in settings — high definition eats bandwidth. Make sure your GPU drivers are current, especially on Windows machines. Integrated cameras sometimes conflict with external webcams — disconnect one. Background blur and custom backgrounds require processing power: disable them on older computers. Close other video applications that might be using the camera simultaneously.
Corrupted cache files cause this frequently. Navigate to %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams and delete the entire folder, then reinstall. Windows Defender or antivirus might be blocking execution — add an exception. Run the app as administrator to rule out permission issues. Check if your system meets minimum requirements: older machines struggle with recent versions.
