Charts Won't Load or Freeze

The most common culprit is a bloated browser cache. Open DevTools, go to Network tab, enable 'Disable cache', and reload the page. If that doesn't help, try a different browser — Investing.com's charting engine sometimes conflicts with outdated Chromium builds. Clearing cookies for the domain specifically (not globally) also fixes persistent freezes.

Login Errors and Session Drops

If you're getting 'Invalid credentials' despite entering the right password, check whether your browser is autofilling an old one. Session drops usually happen when third-party cookies are blocked — the platform relies on them to keep you authenticated. Go to your browser privacy settings and allow cookies from investing.com explicitly.

Price Alerts Not Arriving

First, check spam and promotions folders. If emails aren't arriving at all, whitelist the sender domain in your email client. For push notifications on mobile, go to system settings and confirm that the Investing.com app has notification permissions — iOS especially tends to reset these after updates.

App Crashes on Launch
  • Force-stop the app and clear its cache via system app settings
  • Check that your OS version meets the minimum requirement (Android 8.0+, iOS 15+)
  • Uninstall and reinstall — this rebuilds local databases that sometimes get corrupted
  • If the crash happens only on mobile data, test with Wi-Fi to rule out packet loss issues
Slow Data Updates and High Latency

Real-time quotes require a stable connection with low jitter. Run a quick ping test — if latency exceeds 150ms or you see packet loss above 1–2%, the delayed data isn't a platform bug, it's your network. Switching from 2.4GHz Wi-Fi to 5GHz or wired Ethernet usually resolves it. On mobile, switching between LTE and Wi-Fi mid-session can also cause the feed to stall — toggling airplane mode briefly resets the connection.

Portfolio Sync Fails Between Devices

This happens when the app and browser session write conflicting data. Log out of all sessions simultaneously, wait 30 seconds, then log back in on one device first. If the portfolio still shows stale data, manually refresh it via the sync icon — automatic background sync on iOS gets throttled when battery saver is active.
