When authentication doesn't go through, first clear the app cache. Go to Settings, find the Mi Community or relevant Xiaomi app, tap Storage, then Clear Cache. If that doesn't help, remove your account completely and add it back. Sometimes the token expires on the server side, and re-logging forces a refresh. Make sure your phone's date and time are set to automatic—manual settings often cause authentication mismatches.
The built-in app store sometimes freezes or shows blank pages. Check your internet connection first—switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to isolate the issue. If the problem persists, open Settings, go to Apps, find GetApps, and clear both cache and data. This resets the store without affecting installed apps. Restart your phone afterward to ensure changes take effect.
This happens when theme files get corrupted during download. Go to Themes app, tap Profile, find your downloaded themes, and delete the problematic one. Download it again using a stable connection. If the issue repeats, clear the Themes app data through Settings. Sometimes a pending system update blocks theme application—check for MIUI updates and install them first.
Outdated browser cache causes most crashes. Open Mi Browser settings, find Clear browsing data, and remove cached images and files. Disable any experimental features you might have enabled in the advanced settings. If specific sites still crash, try switching the user agent to Desktop mode—some pages have compatibility issues with mobile rendering on MIUI.
