Ryanair Website Won't Load at All

Clear your browser cache first — stale cached data is one of the most common reasons the site throws a blank page or spins indefinitely. If that doesn't help, switch to a different browser. Ryanair's web interface tends to behave better in Chrome or Edge than in older versions of Firefox or Safari. Also check whether your DNS is resolving correctly; switching to 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1 often fixes silent loading failures.

App Crashes on Search or Booking
  • Force-close the app completely and reopen it rather than just switching away
  • Make sure you're running the latest version — outdated builds frequently break on current iOS and Android releases
  • If crashes happen during seat selection or payment, uninstall and reinstall; corrupted local data is usually the culprit
  • On Android, clearing the app cache through system settings can resolve freeze loops without losing your login
Payment Keeps Getting Declined

This one is rarely the airline's fault alone. Your bank may be blocking the transaction as a foreign or online purchase. Call your bank or approve the transaction through your banking app before retrying. Also check that your billing address matches exactly what your card issuer has on file — even a minor mismatch triggers declines. If you're using a prepaid card, note that Ryanair does not accept all prepaid card types.

Login Errors and Account Access Fails
  • Double-check that caps lock is off; the password field is case-sensitive
  • Use the password reset flow if you haven't logged in for a while — sessions expire and stored credentials go stale
  • If the site loops back to the login page endlessly, delete cookies for the domain specifically, not just a general cache wipe
Boarding Pass Not Loading in the App

Poor mobile signal at the airport is the most common trigger. Download your boarding pass to the app while you still have a solid Wi-Fi connection — the app supports offline access once the pass is saved locally. If the pass shows a broken image or blank QR code, log out, log back in, and navigate to your upcoming trips again to force a refresh.

Slow Search Results and Frozen Calendar

Heavy traffic on the site during sales or holiday booking periods causes the fare calendar to stall. Reload just the search page rather than the full site, and avoid using browser extensions like ad blockers or script managers during booking — they frequently interfere with dynamic price-loading scripts and leave the interface stuck.
